NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)

Course Overview
The NEBOSH International General Certificate has been designed to provide an appropriate breadth of underpinning knowledge for non-specialists in occupational health and safety to enable them to discharge more effectively their organizational duties or functions with respect to workplace health and safety.

The Certificate has been designed for Safety Managers, Managers, Senior Engineers, Safety Engineers, Safety Officers / advisors, Safety Professionals and others who require a fundamental knowledge and understanding of health and safety principles and practices. Candidates are likely to be employees of organizations already working to international standards but needing to adapt these to accord with local needs and practice.

People throughout the world take the NEBOSH International General Certificate because it gives them the skills and know-how to fulfil their health and safety responsibilities in any country and in any kind of organization.

Course Prerequisite
  • Equivalent to an International English Language Testing System score of 5.0 or higher in IELTS tests
Course Assessment
  • Learners will be assessed by continuous on course monitoring by the tutor
  • The method of assessment will be by one written examination and one practical assignment
  • Learners needs to achieve pass marks for passing and successful completion of the course.
  • Candidates who fail for the assessment needs to retake the exam.
  • An international accredited (NEBOSH) certificate shall be issued to the learners upon satisfactory completion of the course
